Unique Vintage Bisque "Little Girl with Freckles" – Doll Kit Makes 16" Doll

This doll kit is from the estate of my grandmother who was a doll maker and collector. The pieces have never been used and have been carefully stored for at least 20 years.
This is a very cute little girl!  It is lightly tinted unglazed porcelain. The delicate painting of the face is nicely done with reflection in the eyes, softly tinted cheeks, and sweet little freckles over the nose. The painted, molded hair is made with spaces to tie real hair ribbons (photos show with and without ribbon). The porcelain arms have well-defined fingers and dimpled elbows.  The legs have molded black, low heeled “school girl” shoes. This is an adorable doll that will be fabulous when dressed in cute little girl clothes.
