    consists of one, 4.375 x 6-in., original and authentic sad iron rest. Its condition is as shown below – no chips, cracks, or other condition issues – probably circa 1890-1900. Note that its basic configuration is identical to an H.R. Ives & Co. trivet from Montreal, less the Ives name.
