Antique 8” Doll with Painted Porcelain Head

This doll has been in the family, but stored, for about 60 years. Have no knowledge of its earlier history. The 8” tall doll has no visible markings except for a “V” symbol on the upper left side of each leg.
Porcelain head is in very good condition but needs some cleaning. We have not tried to clean any parts of the doll preferring to leave that to a collector. The legs with painted shoes are complete as are the hands. Leg fabric is partially split at the right knee.
The cloth dress with brown lace appears to be in very good condition considering probable age. Some lace at the right arm wrist is loose. We have not made any attempt to resew. Have noted a black stain on back of dress near the left armpit.
